ARTEMIA CYSTS EG 90% HR 210,000 NPG
EG Artemia cysts, produced by INVE Aquaculture and supplied in the UK by Varicon Aqua, are standard-grade, non-enhanced Artemia selected for reliable hatching and consistent nauplii production. They hatch readily without specialised pre-treatment and provide a dependable live feed for marine fish and shrimp hatcheries.
With typical hatch rates of around 90% and yields of approximately 210,000 nauplii per gram, EG Artemia offer a stable and easy-to-enrich feed source for first-feeding crustaceans and for marine finfish following rotifer-based diets. Available in multiple packaging formats, they deliver predictable performance and straightforward handling for commercial hatchery operations.

EG Artemia are sourced from carefully managed harvesting sites and screened to ensure uniform quality and repeatable performance across production cycles. Their predictable hatching behaviour supports established hatchery workflows, allowing consistent planning of larval feeding schedules and harvest volumes in both routine and high-throughput systems.
The cysts produce robust Instar I nauplii that may be fed directly or enriched to achieve species-specific nutritional targets. Their non-enhanced nature makes them particularly well suited to customised enrichment strategies, allowing hatcheries to adjust fatty acid and lipid profiles according to developmental stage and production objectives.
EG Artemia are compatible with standard Artemia incubation protocols used in marine finfish and shrimp hatcheries. Typical hatching is completed within 18–24 hours under controlled conditions, with stable temperature, salinity, aeration and pH supporting optimal output. Clean separation of nauplii following hatching allows efficient harvesting and preparation for enrichment or direct feeding.
The product is available in both can and bulk packaging formats to suit different operational scales. For best performance, EG Artemia should be stored dry, sealed and below 5 °C, and used promptly once opened to maintain consistent hatching characteristics.
