The product is extensively used for diatoms and other coastal marine microalgae in professional marine hatcheries, research facilities, and industrial aquaculture systems. One kilogram of Cell-Hi F2P Powder prepares up to 10,000 litres of culture medium at F/2 strength, providing an economical and efficient solution for large-scale cultivation. For batch cultures, recommended inclusion rates range from 0.1–5.0 g/L depending on species and desired biomass. For enhanced diatom growth, the addition of 30 mg/L of metasilicate to the growth medium is recommended.
The All-in-One formulation provides all necessary nutrients, from macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, to essential trace elements including iron, manganese, zinc, copper, and molybdenum, as well as vitamins and cofactors critical for enzymatic activity.
