Cell-Hi JWP Powder is a Jaworski freshwater medium–based, highly concentrated, soluble All-in-One nutrient formulation developed for professional freshwater microalgal cultivation. It provides all essential macro-nutrients, micronutrients, trace elements, and vitamins required to support robust growth across a broad range of freshwater strains, including cyanobacteria and other high-value species.

The product is highly concentrated, with 1 kg providing sufficient nutrients to prepare up to 5,000 litres of culture medium at standard Jaworski strength. It is compatible with batch and continuous cultivation systems and suitable for a wide range of freshwater microalgae species. For batch cultivation, recommended concentrations range from 0.1–5.0 g/L depending on species and desired biomass yield. For a 1× Jaworski medium, a typical inclusion rate is 0.1 g/L, or 2 mL/L when using a prepared stock solution.
Prepared media may be sterilised by filtration through a 0.2 µm filter or by autoclaving, although autoclaving may result in slight changes to chemical composition. To maintain nutrient stability, Cell-Hi JWP Powder should be stored in a cool, shaded location. Prepared solutions should be refrigerated to preserve optimal performance. Proper storage and handling will ensure consistent results in laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial freshwater algal cultivation systems.
