Cell-Hi SP Powder is a Zarrouk’s freshwater medium–based, highly concentrated, 100% soluble All-in-One nutrient premix developed for professional Spirulina cultivation. It provides all essential macro-nutrients, micronutrients, trace elements, and vitamins required to support robust growth of Spirulina and other freshwater cyanobacteria.
Supplied as a premium soluble powder, it offers a convenient and reliable solution for laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial cultivation, enabling precise dosing while minimising preparation time and supporting high biomass yields.

The formulation is optimised specifically for Spirulina production. To maximise N–P–K availability, the medium does not include bicarbonate; for enhanced productivity, supplementation with sodium bicarbonate at 16.7 g/L is recommended. The product is suitable for batch and continuous cultivation systems. For batch cultivation, recommended inclusion rates range from 0.1–5.0 g/L depending on species and target biomass. For a standard 1× Zarrouk’s medium, a typical inclusion rate is 5 g/L, or 50 mL/L when using a prepared stock solution.
To maintain nutrient stability and performance, Cell-Hi SP Powder should be stored in a cool, shaded location. Prepared solutions should be refrigerated to preserve optimal nutrient quality.
