Cell-Hi SP Premixed Liquid isa Zarrouk’s freshwater medium–based, highly concentrated, ready-to-use All-in-One nutrient formulation developed for professional Spirulina cultivation. It provides all essential macro-nutrients, micronutrients, trace elements, and vitamins required to support robust growth of Spirulina and other freshwater cyanobacteria.
Supplied as a fully premixed and completely soluble liquid medium, it offers a convenient and reliable solution for laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial cultivation systems, reducing preparation time while ensuring consistent nutrient delivery.

The formulation is optimised specifically for Spirulina production. To maximise N–P–K availability, the medium does not include bicarbonate; for enhanced productivity, supplementation with sodium bicarbonate at 16.7 g/L is recommended. The premixed liquid is compatible with batch and continuous cultivation systems and is particularly suited to environments where speed, consistency, and ease of use are critical. Inclusion rates follow standard Zarrouk’s medium concentrations and may be adjusted depending on species and target biomass yield.
To maintain nutrient stability and performance, Cell-Hi SP Premixed Liquid should be stored in a cool, shaded location and protected from direct sunlight. Prepared solutions should be refrigerated to preserve nutrient quality. Standard laboratory safety practices should be followed during handling, including avoiding prolonged skin contact or ingestion and ensuring containers remain tightly sealed when not in use.
