Cell-Hi WP Powder is a Walnes saltwater medium–based, highly concentrated, 100% soluble All-in-One nutrient premix developed for professional marine microalgal cultivation. It provides all essential macro-nutrients, micronutrients, trace elements, and vitamins required to support robust growth of marine microalgae, including flagellates such as Isochrysis and Tetraselmis.

The product is extensively used in marine aquaculture, particularly for flagellate species such as Isochrysis and Tetraselmis. One 1.5 kg bag provides sufficient nutrients to prepare up to 10,000 litres of culture medium at standard Walnes strength. For batch cultures, recommended inclusion rates range from 0.15–5.0 g/L depending on species and desired biomass. For a 1× Walnes medium, the typical inclusion rate is 0.15 g/L, or 1 mL/L when using a prepared stock solution.
To maintain nutrient stability and performance, Cell-Hi WP Powder should be stored in a cool, shaded location. Prepared solutions should be refrigerated to preserve optimal nutrient quality. Proper handling and storage, along with standard laboratory safety practices, ensure consistent results in laboratory, pilot-scale, and industrial marine algal cultivation systems.
