SEPART GSL- Sar >225N (EG)
SEP-Art GSL EG Artemia, produced by INVE Aquaculture and supplied in the UK by Varicon Aqua, is a non-enhanced Artemia cyst developed for reliable and repeatable nauplii production in marine fish and shrimp hatcheries. Carefully harvested and graded for uniform performance, it provides a stable and dependable live feed that can be easily enriched to support early larval development and smooth transition from rotifers to Artemia.

SEP-Art GSL EG Artemia originates from closely managed harvesting sites and is graded against defined performance criteria to ensure predictable hatching efficiency and consistent nauplii output across production cycles. The cysts hatch readily under standard hatchery conditions without specialised pre-treatment, making them well suited to both routine operations and intensive larval rearing programmes.
The nauplii may be fed directly at Instar I or enriched using a wide range of nutritional protocols to meet species-specific requirements. This flexibility allows hatcheries to tailor fatty acid profiles and energy content according to developmental stage and production goals. When used in combination with SEP-Art magnetic separation technology, shell debris and unhatched cysts can be removed rapidly, improving hygiene, reducing labour time and enhancing overall biosecurity.
For optimal performance, hatching is typically conducted at a salinity of 25–30 ppt, temperatures around 29 °C, strong aeration and a pH of 8.0–8.5, with hatching completed within 18–24 hours. SEP-Art GSL EG Artemia should be stored dry, sealed and below 5 °C to preserve product quality, and used promptly after opening to maintain consistent hatch results.
