Shellfish Diet 1800 is a highly concentrated, multi-species microalgal feed for marine larvae, spat, and broodstock. Containing five complementary microalgae, it provides a balanced profile of proteins, lipids, essential fatty acids, carotenoids, and carbohydrates to support growth, survival, and overall performance.
Ideal for a wide variety of marine and freshwater shellfish, including oysters, clams, mussels, scallops and crustaceans. Effective for many species including artemia, crab, sea cucumber and some copepods.

Shellfish Diet 1800 is supplied as a viscous, whole-cell concentrate suitable for tanks, silos, upwellers, cultch systems, and depuration units. Its formulation ensures biosecure, clean, and consistent feeding for first feeding through to broodstock conditioning.
The product contains Isochrysis, Pavlova, Tetraselmis, Thalassiosira weissflogii, and Thalassiosira pseudonana, with cell sizes ranging from 4–20 microns and a density of approximately 2 billion cells per mL. The blend delivers around 80 g of dry biomass per litre and maintains nutritional integrity for up to 4 months under refrigeration. Shellfish Diet 1800 provides a convenient, ready-to-use alternative to live algae or peak-load supplementation, supporting reliable larval culture, spat growth, and broodstock conditioning across professional hatcheries and aquaculture research systems.
