Our Cell Harvester systems are versatile filtration rigs suitable for efficiently concentrating biomass and particulate solids at large laboratory, pilot, or commercial scales. These robust systems have a proven track record in reliably separating diverse organisms, including yeasts (e.g., Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Pichia pastoris), bacteria (e.g., Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus plantarum), and microalgae strains (e.g., Chlorella, Nannochloropsis, Isochrysis galbana, Scenedesmus obliquus), among many others. Our platforms are capable of concentrating biomass directly from photobioreactors and fermentation broths to dry-weight concentrations exceeding 100 g L⁻¹, ensuring rapid processing and straightforward operation.

Additionally, we provide configurable and mobile filtration platforms accommodating a wide variety of MF and UF membrane options. Typical systems can incorporate membrane modules with a combined membrane area tailored to customer-specific throughput needs, achieving clean-water flux rates exceeding 1 tonne per hour and effective process fluxes ranging from 75–150 litres per hour or higher, depending on membrane selection.
