The Phyco-Tainer™ is a compact, flexible, and scalable algae production facility designed for both research and commercial applications. Built into a 20” or 40” high bay container, the system is fully self-contained and can house a variety of production solutions, including any Phyco-Line products like the Phyco-Bubble™, Phyco-Conical™, or Phyco-Flow™, as well as conventional big bags.
This versatility allows for the cultivation of single or multiple algal species, making it suitable for applications ranging from aquaculture to bio-research.
Equipped with microfiltration and UV sterilisation for incoming water, the Phyco-Tainer™ ensures clean and controlled cultivation conditions. Its modular design allows for easy customisation, with options to include a fully functional laboratory featuring glassware, autoclaves, and wet lab-standard equipment.
The system can also be expanded with additional units to increase production capacity or diversify species cultivation. Local conditions permitting, it can be fitted with an external Phyco-Flow™ to further boost production volume.
Integrated with Varicon Aqua’s VAS control system, the Phyco-Tainer™ offers advanced monitoring and management of critical parameters such as temperature, CO₂, dissolved oxygen (DO), and pH. Designed for plug-and-play installation, the unit only requires water, electricity, and drainage connections, ensuring minimal client setup and rapid deployment.
