The VariConnect™ is a comprehensive, flexible data acquisition and control system originally designed to streamline the operation of Varicon Aqua’s Phyco-™ line of photobioreactors and pond systems. Offering seamless integration with systems of any size and configuration, VariConnect™ provides an efficient and flexible approach to monitoring and controlling algae production through its wireless architecture and user-friendly design. Equipped with an advanced sensor network, VariConnect™ facilitates precise monitoring of critical parameters, including pH, temperature, optical density (OD), conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). Data-logging capabilities ensure thorough tracking and analysis of production metrics, enabling consistent optimisation of cultivation conditions.

The system’s Human-Machine Interface (HMI) provides real-time access via touchscreen, computer, or remote devices, offering flexible monitoring and control. The VariConnect™ system features automatic control functionality, multiple photobioreactor (PBR) control capabilities from a single HMI, and a durable, robust design, making it adaptable to a variety of operational environments. Its network infrastructure supports up to 28 wireless input and output connections, ensuring scalable, effective oversight of complex production systems. An array of analogue and digital outputs enables control over a wide range of devices, and the VA team is ready to collaborate with you to fulfil your specific control requirements.
